# Troubleshoot Social Media Connections

If your social media account shows as **Connected** in Holo but publishing still fails, the connection may need to be updated or the connected account may be missing a required permission or setup.

You can manage social media connections under **More → Integrations**.

### Reconnect a social media account

For most connection issues, start by reconnecting the platform:

1. Open **More → Integrations**.
2. Select the social media platform.
3. Click **Disconnect**.
4. Connect the account again.
5. Complete the selection window and choose the correct profile, page, channel, or board.

Make sure you finish the full connection flow. Closing the selection window cancels the connection.

### LinkedIn connection problems

#### No available Company Pages

You may see a message saying that Holo could not find any LinkedIn Company Pages for your account.

This usually means that the LinkedIn account you connected does not have permission to publish on behalf of that Company Page.

If you want to publish from your **personal LinkedIn profile**:

1. Disconnect LinkedIn in Holo.
2. Connect it again.
3. Choose **Personal profile**.

If you want to publish from a **Company Page**:

1. Open the Company Page on LinkedIn.
2. Go to **Admin tools → Manage admins**.
3. Make sure the LinkedIn account you use with Holo is a **Super admin** or **Content admin**.
4. Disconnect LinkedIn in Holo.
5. Connect it again using that LinkedIn account.
6. Select the Company Page.

If you already have the correct admin permissions and reconnecting still gives the same error, contact Holo Support and include a screenshot of the error.

### YouTube connection problems

Before connecting YouTube, make sure:

* You are using the correct Google account.
* A YouTube channel has already been created under that Google account.

A Google account without a YouTube channel cannot be connected.

#### Create a YouTube channel

1. Go to YouTube and sign in with the Google account you want to use.
2. Click your profile picture.
3. Select **Create a channel**.
4. Return to Holo and connect YouTube using the same Google account.
5. Allow all permissions requested by Google.

If any requested permission is denied, the connection may fail.

#### YouTube post is rejected

YouTube posts in Holo must contain:

* Exactly **one video**
* No images or carousel
* A title of up to **100 characters**
* A video that is **15 minutes or shorter**
* Visibility set to **Public**, **Unlisted**, or **Private**

If you leave the title empty, Holo uses the first line of the caption.

If publishing fails, update the post so it contains one valid video, add a title if needed, and schedule it again.

### Pinterest connection problems

Before connecting Pinterest, make sure:

* You are using a **Pinterest business account**.
* At least one board already exists in Pinterest.

Pins need a board to publish to.

#### Connect the correct Pinterest board

1. Create a board in Pinterest if you do not already have one.
2. In Holo, connect Pinterest.
3. Select the board you want Holo to publish to.

If Holo asks you to select a board, you must choose one before scheduling.

If boards already exist but Holo never gives you the option to select one, contact Holo Support instead of repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting the account. Include a screenshot of what you see so the team can investigate.
