# Manage Socials automations

**Manage automations** lets you control how much of your social media workflow Holo handles automatically.

You can choose whether Holo should generate ideas, turn those ideas into posts, and approve and schedule them for you.

To open automation settings:

1. Go to **Socials**.
2. Click **Manage automations** in the top-right corner.
3. Select the social media channel you want to manage.

Each channel has its own automation settings.

### Automatic idea generation

Turn on **Automatic idea generation** if you want Holo to keep your calendar filled with fresh content ideas.

When enabled, Holo generates new ideas every Monday.

You can also choose:

* **Posts per week** — how many ideas Holo should prepare each week.
* **Formats** — which content formats Holo should use for that channel.

Available formats depend on the platform and can include options such as feed posts, carousels, reels, stories, or videos.

Changes to your posting frequency or formats apply to future ideas. Ideas already created for the current week stay as they are.

### Automatic post generation

Turn on **Automatic post generation** if you want Holo to go beyond ideas and automatically create the posts for you.

When this is enabled, Holo takes the generated ideas and builds the corresponding content automatically.

You can still review the generated posts before they are published unless automatic approval is also enabled.

### Automatic post approval and scheduling

Turn on **Automatic post approval and scheduling** if you want Holo to approve and schedule generated posts without waiting for your manual review.

This option is available only when:

* The social media account is connected.
* **Automatic post generation** is enabled.

Once enabled, Holo can move generated posts directly into your schedule.

If you prefer to review every post yourself, leave this option turned off.

### Turn automation off

You can disable automation for any channel at any time.

If you turn off **Automatic idea generation**, Holo also turns off automatic post generation and automatic approval and scheduling for that channel.

Existing ideas and scheduled posts are not automatically removed.

### Add automation for another channel

From **Manage automations**, select another social media channel and enable its automation.

Holo will begin preparing ideas for that channel in the background, so you can continue using the calendar while the new content is being prepared.

You can also set up a combined **Instagram + Facebook** automation. This lets Holo prepare content for both channels together instead of managing them separately.
