# History Sidebar

The **History** sidebar provides quick access to your previous conversations, creative generations, and ongoing tasks. It helps you keep track of your work and quickly return to any item you've previously created.

### View Your History

The History panel displays:

* Previous AI chats.
* Creative generations.
* Completed tasks.
* Generations that are currently in progress.
* Failed generations that may need to be retried.

Generation status is indicated with icons, making it easy to identify which items are complete, still processing, or unsuccessful.

### Search Your History

To quickly find a specific item:

1. Click the **Search** icon next to the History heading.
2. Enter keywords related to the chat, task, or creative.
3. Matching history items will be displayed as you type.

This is useful when you have many previous conversations or generations.

### Filter History Items

You can filter the History list to display only specific types of items.

Available filters include:

* **All** – Shows every history item.
* **Chats** – Displays only AI conversations.
* **Tasks** – Shows workflow tasks and generated content tasks.
* **Creatives** – Displays generated images, videos, and other creative assets.

Select the filter that best matches what you're looking for to reduce clutter in the sidebar.

### Collapse the History Sidebar

If you need more workspace while creating content, you can collapse the History panel.

To do this:

1. Click the **Collapse** arrow next to the History controls.
2. The History list will be hidden, providing additional screen space.
3. Click the arrow again at any time to expand the sidebar and restore your history list.
