# Chat with Holo

Holo Chat is your AI creative assistant built directly into Holo. It helps you create, edit, and plan content using your brand context, products, connected social accounts, and existing creative assets.

You can access Chat from the **Home page** or open a dedicated editing chat for any creative inside your **Library**.

## Starting a conversation

There are two ways to use Chat.

### From the Home page

Open the **Home** page and click inside the **Ask Holo anything...** input box.

This opens the full Chat workspace where you can ask Holo to:

* Generate new creatives
* Create social posts
* Write emails
* Brainstorm campaign ideas
* Edit existing assets
* Answer questions about your account

You can also use the suggested prompts above the chat box for quick inspiration.

### From the Creative Library

If you're viewing an asset inside your **Library**, click **Edit**.

This opens **Creative Chat Mode**, where:

* Your selected creative stays visible on the left.
* A dedicated chat window opens on the right.
* Holo already knows which creative you're editing, so you don't need to upload it again.

This mode is ideal for making quick changes and iterating on an existing creative.

## Chat history

Every conversation is saved automatically in the left sidebar.

Each conversation includes:

* An automatically generated title
* Preview thumbnails of generated creatives

You can:

* Reopen previous conversations
* Continue where you left off

## Sending messages

Type your request into the message box.

Optionally, attach up to **3 images** using:

* Upload
* Creative Library
* Products from your connected store

Holo can use these as:

* References
* Variations
* Editing targets

The more specific your instructions, the better the results.

## What Chat can do

Depending on your request, Holo can:

* Generate images from text prompts
* Edit existing creatives
* Remove or replace backgrounds
* Change colors and text
* Resize creatives for different platforms
* Generate image variations
* Clone reference images in your brand style
* Create AI product photoshoots
* Browse products from your catalog
* Plan social content
* Schedule posts to your connected social accounts
* Answer questions about your Holo workspace

In many cases, Holo will suggest creative directions before generating assets so you can choose the approach you prefer.

## Suggestion chips

After Holo responds, you may see **quick action buttons** such as:

* Make it more vibrant
* Try another layout
* Generate more versions
* Schedule this post
* Connect a social account

Clicking one automatically sends the instruction as your next message.

## Progress, stopping, and limits

While Holo is generating content, you'll see a **status indicator** such as:

* Generating image...
* Editing creative...
* Creating social posts...

You can stop a generation at any time using the **Stop** button.

If a generation takes longer than **10 minutes**, it will automatically time out.

## Creative Chat Mode

When editing a creative from your **Library**, Holo opens a dedicated editing workspace.

In **Creative Chat Mode**:

* The selected creative remains visible on the left.
* A chat panel opens on the right.
* Every instruction applies directly to that creative.
* No need to re-upload the image.
* A separate chat history is kept for each creative.

This is the fastest way to make **iterative edits**, such as:

* Make the headline larger
* Change the background
* Try a warmer colour palette
* Replace the product
* Create another variation

With Chat, you can brainstorm ideas, generate new creatives, refine existing designs, resize assets, and schedule social content, all from a single AI workspace tailored to your brand.
