Chat

Holo Chat is your AI creative assistant in Holo. It lives in the left-side menu and helps you create, edit, and plan visual content through conversation—using your brand context like style, products, connected social accounts, and your content calendar.

Starting a conversation

  • Click New Chat to start a fresh conversation.

  • Some entry points (like Create) may open a guided Plan & Create flow. You can review and edit the plan before generation starts.

  • If you open Chat from another feature, your message and/or images may be pre-filled automatically.

Chat history

  • All conversations are saved automatically and appear in the chat sidebar.

  • Each conversation includes:

    • an auto-generated title (based on your first message)

    • thumbnail previews of images created during the chat

  • You can rename or delete conversations from the sidebar.

  • Reopening a conversation restores the full message history.

Sending messages

  1. Type your message in the input area at the bottom of Chat.

  2. (Optional) Attach up to 3 images per message:

    • Upload (from your device)

    • Creative Library (previous assets)

    • Products (product images from your connected store)

  3. Send your message.

Holo can use your attachments as references, for variations, or for editing.

What Chat can do

Chat automatically uses different tools depending on what you ask. Common capabilities include:

  • Generate images from your description, aligned to your brand

  • Edit images (for example: remove background, change text, swap colors)

  • Resize images for different platform formats

  • Generate variations of an image

  • Clone a reference image in your brand style

  • Photoshoot (place your product into a styled scene)

  • Show products (browse/select items from your catalog)

  • View moodboard (pull brand direction into the creative)

  • Plan calendar posts (batch-create and add posts to your calendar)

  • Schedule a post (publish later to connected social accounts)

In many cases, Chat will suggest concepts before generating visuals—so you can align on direction first.

Suggestion chips

After the assistant responds, you may see quick-action buttons (suggestion chips), such as:

  • “Make it more vibrant”

  • “Try a different layout”

  • “Connect a social account” (if scheduling requires it)

Clicking a suggestion sends it as your next message automatically.

Progress indicators, stopping, and limits

  • While the assistant is working, you’ll see a status label (for example: “Generating image…”, “Getting your products…”).

  • You can stop a response at any time using the stop button.

  • Conversation length limit: After 16 messages in a single conversation, you’ll be prompted to start a new chat.

  • Auto-timeout: If a generation runs longer than 10 minutes, it’s automatically cancelled.

Creative Library Chat Mode

When viewing an asset in your Creative Library, you can open Chat Mode for focused edits to that specific creative. To open the Chat Mode, simply enter your command in the chat box under the picture.

  • The chat is scoped to the image you’re viewing (no need to re-attach it)

  • Supports up to 5 attachments per message (vs. 3 in main Chat)

  • Includes a separate chat history per asset, accessible from a sidebar

  • Best for iterative refinement:

    • “Make the text bigger”

    • “Try a warmer palette”

    • “Swap the background”

With Chat, you can brainstorm concepts, generate visuals, fine-tune designs, resize for different platforms, and even plan and schedule posts—all in one place, guided by your brand setup and the assets you share in the conversation.
