When Holo Gets Stuck: Fixes for Common Issues
Sometimes Holo needs a small nudge to get the best results. Here are the most common roadblocks — plus quick fixes that usually solve them right away.
If Holo “forgets” which product you’re designing for
What’s happening: Context can drift across multiple generations, especially when switching between products.
Try this: Put the product name in quotes every time. This helps anchor the visual thread to that specific product.
Example: “Create a hero graphic for ‘Product Name’…”
If Holo struggles to stay focused on one product
What’s happening: Generating lots of images at once can dilute the intent and cause product mixing. Fewer images = tighter focus.
Try this: Generate 3 images instead of 9 for tighter focus.
If outputs start looking generic or off-brand
What’s happening: After many generations, the “why” behind the request can get fuzzy without a reset.
Try this: Restate the core intent in one sentence before generating again. Think of it as re-centering the model.
Example: “Reminder: this is for a premium digital product with a clean, modern aesthetic.”
If Holo mixes styles or adds elements you didn’t ask for
What’s happening: The prompt is slightly too open-ended, so Holo fills in the gaps creatively.
Try this: Add a short Avoid line. Negative prompts = cleaner visuals.
Example: “Avoid clutter, bold colors, cartoon styles, and busy backgrounds.”
If the vibe is right, but something still feels “off”
What’s happening: Holo is close, but it needs more precise direction.
Try this: Change one variable at a time. Avoid rewriting the whole prompt — micro-edits work better.
Examples:
“More negative space”
“Softer background”
“Lighter tones”
“Reduce visual noise”
If results feel inconsistent across sessions
What’s happening: New chats can behave like a semi-fresh start, so the same idea may drift.
Try this: Reuse a short “anchor line” in new sessions.
Example: “This brand uses clean layouts, soft lighting, and an elevated minimal aesthetic.”
If Holo misunderstands abstract concepts
What’s happening: Abstract ideas are harder to interpret visually without concrete cues.
Try this: Translate the concept into physical objects or a scene.
Instead of: “Show productivity” Try: “A desk with a laptop, notebook, coffee mug, and clean surface.”
If Holo stops improving after multiple attempts
What’s happening: You can hit diminishing returns in the same thread.
Try this: Start a fresh chat and paste:
Your best prompt so far
One sentence about what didn’t work
Fresh context often fixes it instantly.
AI isn’t always perfectly consistent. Even with the same prompt, you may get different results, and sometimes Holo might miss a detail or add something unexpected. If that happens, it’s not you — it’s just how AI works.
